Bobbi Brown BB Cream SPF 35

Hey there,

It feels awesome to be able to try out new makeup stuff again since my recovery from TERRIBLE acnes! Yeah, I had cystic acnes in mid 2013 to the beginning of 2014. But I'm not writing about my acne experience today, but rather the new product that I tried recently: Bobbi Brown BB Cream.

This stuff belongs to my sister in law, so I don't know how much the exact price is. But from the website, it should cost around US$ 44 for 40ml tube. I believe this is an OK price for a brand like Bobbi Brown.

The texture of the cream is pretty light, which makes it feel more like a tinted moisturizer or CC cream. It evens out easily and blends well with my skin tone. It doesn't leave white cast, which makes it look really natural on skin. However, it still does a good job covering up redness and uneven skin tone. But I'm quite sure it won't cover up severe acne marks since it is really thin.

This BB cream creates a dewy look which best suits normal to dry skin. It neither oxidizes nor gets oily after long hours. I set this BB cream with my Clinique Loose Powder and they work well together, keeping my face fresh all day :)

Another plus point of this BB cream is that it has SPF 35 and PA+++. So it is very capable to protect your face from UVA (maximum protection with PA+++) and UVB (sufficient protection with SPF above 15). I can't smell any floral fragrance, but it smells like cosmetic cream.

This BB cream has made me fall in love and now I am interested to try more products from this brand, and other American/European cosmetic brands. I used to believe that Korean makes the best BB creams but now I've changed my mind and will probably try BB or CC creams from American/European brands (been thinking about Clinique, Estee Lauder and of course Bobbi Brown). But don't get me wrong, I have been using and loving my Dr. Jart Silver Label BB cream, only I haven't reviewed yet. I'm just saying that I want to try lots of new stuff :p

The last but not least, this BB cream doesn't cause any breakouts (I have worn it a few times). Thus, I'm giving this BB cream 4.5 out of 5 stars for its texture, coverage (light coverage but just enough for me), price, staying power and finish look.
